Kain graduated from University of Adelaide, Australia, in 1997. Having completed his BSc. Dent in Forensic Dentistry in 2004, he was part of a multi-national Forensic team sent to Thailand to assist in the identification of Tsunami victims. Since 2005, Kain has been working in Bristol and completed his Postgraduate Certificate in Surgical and Prosthodontic Implantology from the highly regarded Eastman Institute in London. Kain has vast experience in providing high quality, advanced Implant solutions for patients.
Kain is very excited to now be part of the highly skilled team at The Dentists Old Market.
Eugene graduated from Kaunas Medical University, Lithuania, 2007. From an early stage, Eugene got involved in the field of Implant Dentistry at one of the most well respected dental implant practices in Lithuania. He gained invaluable experience treating patients needing complex dental treatment and implants. He came to the UK in 2011, working in Somerset, before working as a private dentist in Bristol from 2015. He has a particular interest in delivering high quality root canal treatment and enjoys the restorative side of dentistry. His main priority in his professional career, is striving for clinical excellence and providing his patients with the highest quality dental care.
Steven was born in Barnstaple, a quiet town in North Devon, before moving to Bristol where he obtained his dental qualification at the University of Bristol in 2013. His thirst for continual development and training has since gained him Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons of Edinburgh and he is currently enrolled on the 3-year part-time MSc Dental Implantology course at the University of Bristol. He has also become a certified Invisalign provider since 2016.
Steven is passionate and enjoys all aspects of dentistry but has a particular interest in implants and cosmetic treatments, such as teeth whitening, veneers and white fillings. His empathetic and caring nature creates a relaxing atmosphere for his patients, and allows him to provide a consistently high standard of dental care to all his patients. He has used his fluency in Cantonese in a medical capacity, serving as the translator between the patient and the team. He is able to communicate to all ages and explain to the patients the course of treatment they require in a clear, understandable and concise way, as well as put anxious patients at ease.
Out of work Steven is very active, and enjoys playing golf and tennis. He is passionate about creating memories through his interests in photography and cinematography. He also enjoys spending time with his family in Devon.
Dip Dent Hygiene (2003)
Suzanne worked as a Dental Nurse before qualifying in 2003 as a Dental Hygienist from the Newcastle-Upon-Tyne Dental School. Since then she has gained over 10 years experience treating patients in private practices within Bristol.
Her main role is to work in conjunction with the Dentists in the prevention and treatment of Gum Disease. Suzanne believes in educating her patients in caring for their Teeth and Gums by providing specific oral hygiene advice and providing manageable homecare plans.
Suzanne is a member of the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy and is a strong believer in Continuing Professional Development and education and therefore regularly attends courses and seminars to keep up to date with the latest knowledge and training within her scope of practice.
Sally Cantwell Hygienist
Dip Dent Hygiene (1982)
Sally qualified from Bristol Dental Hospital in 1981. After qualifying she worked at Southmead Hospital in the Oral and Maxillofacial unit and at Ham Green Hospital. She has experience in working in both NHS and private practices in Bristol, Somerset, Portishead and here in Old Market. She has an interest with working with nervous patients.
CEB Cert in Dent Hyg (1982)
Lesley qualified from Bristol Dental Hospital in 1987. After qualifying she worked here in Old Market, and also in practices in the centre of Bath. She has lots of experience of working in both private and NHS practices in the area. She remains enthusiastic in her approach to oral hygiene education and patient care, especially when treating nervous patients.
Dip Dent Hygiene (1982)
Gill qualified from Bristol Dental Hospital in 1981. She then returned to London to work in private practices in central London, and from 1988 -1992 at the Royal Marsden Hospital in Fulham Road. Over the years she has been very fortunate to work at several different practices enabling her to have a varied hygiene career.
